Mazoutman app privacy policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
The Mazoutman app is made by Stijn De Cocker, who also operates mazoutman.com and mazoutman.be. For questions about your privacy, email info@mazoutman.be .
What data the app uses
- Your login and password. The app only uses them to log in to mazoutman.com. If you turn on “Keep me logged in”, your password is stored encrypted in your device’s Keychain.
- Your meter’s data. The app loads your readings, device ID, installation address and tank capacity from your account at mazoutman.com. A copy of your readings is kept on your device so the app opens faster.
- Changes you make. When you change the address or the tank capacity, the app sends that change to your account at mazoutman.com.
- Your list of meters and the names you give them are only stored on your device.
All connections to mazoutman.com are encrypted (HTTPS).
What the app does not do
The app contains no ads and no analytics or tracking services, and does not share data with other parties. The app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Deleting data
When you log out or remove a meter in the app, the saved password for that account is deleted. When you delete the app, all data the app stored on your device is deleted as well. To have data in your mazoutman.com account deleted, contact us at the email address above.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes, the new version will be on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
